4.1.5.15. Loads on Vehicle Guardrails

Vehicle guardrails shall be designed for a concentrated load of 22 kN applied horizontally outward at any point 500 mm above the floor surface so as to produce the most critical effect.

The loads required in Sentence (1) need not be considered to act simultaneously with the loads provided for in Article 4.1.5.14.
